4^th Grade School Supply List

1 1/2 one inch binder  (any color)

1 set of tabbed index dividers with pockets

2 packages 4x4 graph paper (loose leaf, 2 sided, please not padded)

4 large erasers

36 #2 pencils

1 pair of Fiskars brand children’s scissors (small or junior size)

3 glue sticks

1 12” ruler (with inches and metric)

500 sheets of wide ruled notebook paper

500 sheets of white copier paper

1 package of manilla paper (large)

12 red or purple ink pens for grading (not markers)

4 boxes of facial tissues

3 rolls of paper towels

3 packages of multi-purpose cleaning wipes (not individually wrapped)

2 highlighters (any color)

1 package of colored pencils (Crayola preferred)

1 package of markers (Crayola preferred)

1 box of crayons

1 pencil box

NO PENS (except for grading pens) are used in the fourth grade

Summer Reading List

Students entering the 4^th grade must read either The Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks or Sarah Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan and complete a book report using the outline on the back of this page. 

Students must also read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert O’Brien

and complete a book report using the same form.

Students need to finish reading The Whipping Boy by Sid Fleishman by September 1^st , and we will discuss and do our book reports together in class.
