The mission of the Dance Department is to instill within the students an understanding of, and experience in, all disciplines of dance education with an emphasis on the foundational styles of Classical Ballet and Jazz and Modern Dance. The additional styles of tap, cultural dances from around the world, choreography and improvisation provide varied experiences in the art form.
